Dear Adrian and all at the Fox & Hounds,

We had a splendid day yesterday - the weather stayed dry for our walks and we all thoroughly enjoyed your stunning countryside.  The day was rounded off in true fashion by supper at the Fox & Hounds Inn and we wanted to record a sincere 'thank you' to you and your great team for looking after us so well.  The quality of the beer, the food, the welcome and the service were truely  appreciated by all - without exception.

The management of such a large group always generates some organisational issues - folks not advising their menu requests, pulling out late (or even adding to numbers at the last minute), and the sudden gluten free request etc.etc.  The Fox & Hounds took everything in their stride with admirable calmness, and especial thanks for this.

I have been a regular, although sadly infrequent, visitor to your pub for many many years and I look forward to seeing you again.  Hopefully others from our group now do the same.
